Blame posts about music, tagging, his son, and photos. Misk posts about go and anime. I post either random shit or random yet boring shit.

Lol. Don’t feel bad, and your shit isn’t boring. I’ve had countless blogs and journals before this, and invariably got bored as soon as I felt some sort of obligation to post every little errant thought that entered my head, regardless of subject or context. The only real ways to maintain a journal, in my experience anyways, is to make it themed, force yourself to post in it only once every few days, or make nothing but short, effortless posts (at least, the majority of the time). One of the three is all I can manage, and it’s probably the same for others.

For that reason, I made THIS blog 90% anime, and tried to keep it that way. After I started picking up Go though, I added that to it as well, since I’m spending half of my time on it as a hobby, and then, most recently, literature. In short, whatever my main passion is at the time. Consistency means that your audience will care more too, as its difficult for a follower to sift through dozens of completely disconnected posts and find something that actually matters to them.

One can say that journals aren’t meant for an audience, but then there’d be no point in weblogs being on the internet if that were true for those as well.

Now that you’ve recognized that me and Blame are trying to make themes for Tumblr, are you wanting to try it too? It does make it a lot easier to manage, for certain.
