I beat an 18kyu, who was talking crap mind you, by 199.5 points just now. He had two living groups, both really small. I even mis-clicked to give him one of those early in the game, which sucked, but I’m not one to bitch and hit Undo, so I left it. Seriously though, why in the world would you think you can take someone 9 ranks higher than you in an ‘even match’?

This started because I went in to give advice to a friend of mine, who’d just played him. None of my comments were even about or directed toward him, and he was just kept on and on with the ‘dude, you don’t know what you’re talking about’ etc, etc.. He finally told me to play him, so I did, but I feel sorta bad about it now. >_>; Honestly though, for such a mouthy jerk like that, I’m not sure if I’d be happy or angry at myself if he quit Go altogether after this.

Probably both.
