In a related note, Mandalay is terribly underrated. I get more enjoyment listening to this ‘Instinct’ album than I do from 99% of everything on the radio, on any station, and at any time. About the only thing I enjoy more than this sweet-sounding melancholy atmosphere is female-lead gothic metal ala Tristania- but moods are the most important factor in that.

Has Time Travel Succeeded?
Over thousands of years, there have been myths and theories thrown around about time-travel and time-viewing. One of the earliest examples that I’ve heard of time-travel has been the story of Urashima Taro in Japanese texts that goes something like this:

Silence
I had such a nostalgic moment just, standing outside as the sun rose with absolute quiet all around. I didn’t realize it was possible for it to feel like there’s no one around for miles in the middle of the city, but it was amazing. Some days I really miss Arizona.
